Which Samsung CLP-360 series driver should I choose?

HP offers three kinds of download here. The Basic driver is the model-specific choice, and it comes in a 56.4 MB installer or a 26.7 MB no-installer version. Pick the XPS version (29.8 MB) only on Windows 7. The Universal Print Driver (38.5 MB) is a generic driver for IT-managed setups. Utilities such as Set IP, Easy Printer Manager and Easy Wireless Setup add configuration and monitoring. They do not replace the driver.

Samsung supports this series on Windows 7, 10 and 11, though the basic drivers cover only Windows 7 and 10. Windows 11 users can choose the Universal Print Driver. Set IP can assign a network address using the printer's MAC address.

How to install the Samsung CLP-360 series driver

1. Check that you run Windows 10 or Windows 7, 32-bit or 64-bit.
2. Download the CLP-36x Series Print Driver (56.4 MB) from the HP page.
3. Open the downloaded file and start the installer.
4. Follow the installer prompts until it finishes.
5. Print a test page from any application to confirm the driver works.

Windows cannot find the printer after installation

Confirm the printer is powered on and connected. Then rerun the CLP-36x installer. On a network, Samsung Set IP can assign an address using the printer's MAC address.

Prints look faded, streaked or blank

Check the toner supply first. Remove the toner cartridge, rock it gently to spread the toner, and reinsert it. Replace the cartridge if the problem continues.

Easy Printer Manager fails on Windows 10

Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager version 2.00.01.36. It fixed a Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue. Remove the older version first if the new installer complains.
