About DriverPrinter

DriverPrinter has helped people find the right printer driver since 2014. The site is run by Günay V. under the name DriverPrinter Lab.

What we do

Finding a driver on a manufacturer’s site can take a while. Model names look alike, download lists are long, and it is not always clear which file you need. We do that work for you. Each printer page lists every file the manufacturer offers for current versions of Windows, macOS and Linux, and tells you which one to pick first.

Where the files come from

We do not host driver files. Every download button sends you to the manufacturer’s own server (for HP printers, ftp.hp.com). We never repackage files, add installers or bundle extra software.

For each file we show the version, release date, size and the MD5 checksum the manufacturer publishes. You can compare the checksum with the file you downloaded to make sure it is genuine. Each page also shows the date we last checked it against the manufacturer’s official download list.

Read more about our process on how we check drivers.

Who checks the pages

File details are taken from the manufacturer’s official download list. Page text is reviewed by Günay V. before it is published. Günay has worked with computer software and hardware for 25 years and has built websites and collected printer drivers since 2005. When a manufacturer releases a new driver, we update the page and change the “last checked” date.

Brands we cover

We are rebuilding our HP pages first. Epson, Canon and Brother will follow.

How the site is funded

DriverPrinter is free to use and is supported by advertising. We never charge for drivers, downloads or setup help. Our own download buttons are always green and link to the manufacturer’s server. If a button leads anywhere else, it is an ad.

Independence

We are not affiliated with HP or any other printer manufacturer. Brand and product names belong to their owners and are used only to identify the right printer.
