Which Samsung CLP-670 driver should I choose?
HP offers three categories for this printer. Basic drivers are model-specific, such as the CLP-670 Series Print Driver at 32.9 MB, but HP lists them for Windows 7 only. Universal Print Drivers are generic drivers for IT-managed setups, and the standard one is 38.5 MB with Windows 11 and 10 support. Utilities add tools. Set IP (1.5 MB) sets a network IP by MAC address, and Easy Printer Manager (28.7 MB) combines settings and status monitoring.
HP lists the model-specific CLP-670 drivers for Windows 7 only. Windows 11 and Windows 10 owners can use the Universal Print Driver instead. Set IP configures a network printer through its MAC address, the hardware serial number of the printer's network card.

Samsung CLP-670 driver troubleshooting
Windows does not detect the printer
Check that the printer is on and its cable or network link is secure. Restart both the printer and the PC. For a network printer, Samsung Set IP can assign an IP address by MAC address.
Prints look faded, streaked or blank
Remove each cartridge and check that it sits correctly. Replace any cartridge that is empty or low. Then print a test page again to see whether the problem is gone.
Easy Printer Manager has trouble on Windows 10
Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager version 2.00.01.36 (28.7 MB). HP lists it as fixing a Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue. Remove the older version first if the problem persists.
