Which Samsung Xpress SL-M2875 driver should I choose?
HP sorts these files into four categories. Basic drivers are driver-only packages: the print driver is 40.5 MB and the scan driver is 26.3 MB. Utilities add tools such as Easy Printer Manager (28.7 MB), Set IP (1.5 MB) and Samsung Printer Diagnostics (23.1 MB). The Universal Print Driver (38.5 MB) is a generic driver for IT-managed setups. Firmware files are 15.5 MB and 17.7 MB. HP lists no specific problem they fix, so skip them unless you have one.
Two firmware files cover this model, depending on the variant: M2875DW/ND or M2875FD-FW. Check your exact suffix before downloading either one. Network PC Fax applies only to units supplied with fax. Set IP assigns a network address using the printer's MAC address.

Samsung Xpress SL-M2875 driver troubleshooting
Printer shows as offline or jobs stay stuck in the queue
Run Samsung Printer Diagnostics (version 1.0.4.29, 23.1 MB). HP describes it as an automated Windows tool for offline printers and stuck print jobs. Restart the printer and PC before retrying.
Pages print faint, streaked or with gray background
Remove the toner cartridge and rock it gently to spread the toner. Reinstall it firmly and print a test page. Replace the cartridge if the problem continues.
Samsung utilities misbehave on Windows 10
Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager version 2.00.01.36. HP states it fixed a Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue. Easy Document Creator 2.02.61 and Network PC Fax 2.02.35 carry the same fix.

What does the No Installer print driver do?
It is a 21.1 MB print driver that needs manual installation. Choose it only if you prefer to add the driver yourself. The regular print driver at 40.5 MB comes with an installer.
What does the firmware fix?
HP lists no specific problem for either firmware file. Both are version 3.00.01.38, dated Nov 01, 2017. One covers M2670N and M2875DW/ND, and the other covers M2875FD-FW and related models.
