HP sorts the files into four categories. The Basic driver is driver-only software for printing; it comes as a 40.6 MB installer or a 21.1 MB no-installer version that needs manual installation. The Universal Print Driver (38.5 MB) is a generic driver that suits IT-managed setups and supports Windows 11. Utilities handle tasks like network IP setup, wireless setup, monitoring and diagnostics. Skip the 7.4 MB firmware file unless you are fixing a specific problem, since HP lists no fixes for it.

The Basic driver supports Windows 10 and Windows 7, both 32-bit and 64-bit. Windows 11 users should pick the Universal Print Driver instead. Set IP configures a network printer by its MAC address, and Easy Wireless Setup configures wireless network settings.

Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager 2.00.01.36. HP states this version fixed a Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue. Download it, run the installer, then reopen the program.
