Basic driver downloads are the files you need to print or scan. Choose the PCL6 installer (39.6 MB) for most setups. The No Installer version (20.3 MB) needs manual installation through Add Printer. Utilities add extras such as Easy Printer Manager (28.7 MB) and Samsung Printer Diagnostics (23.1 MB). Universal Print Driver packages, like the Samsung one at 38.5 MB, are generic drivers for IT-managed setups. Update the firmware (935.4 MB) only to fix a specific problem, after reading the release note.

HP's driver files cover the SL-X7400, 7500 and 7600 series together. A separate scan driver (24.8 MB) handles scanning. Network PC Fax works only on Samsung multifunction printers supplied with fax. Easy Color Manager adjusts color balance, saturation, brightness and contrast.

Printer shows as offline or jobs stay stuck in the queue

Run Samsung Printer Diagnostics (version 1.0.4.29, 23.1 MB). HP describes it as an automated Windows tool for offline printers and stuck print jobs. Also check that the printer is powered on and connected.

Prints look faded, streaky or uneven

Check the printer's supplies first and replace any that are low or worn. Then print another test page. If the problem stays, adjust settings with Samsung Easy Color Manager (version 4.00.14).

Samsung Easy Printer Manager has Windows 10 compatibility problems

Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager version 2.00.01.36 (28.7 MB). HP lists it as fixing the Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue. Uninstall the older version first if the new one will not install.
