Which Samsung SL-M4024 driver should I choose?
HP groups the downloads into three categories. The basic driver is what most owners need. The 36.3 MB installer sets up the driver for you, while the No Installer version (21.2 MB) requires a manual installation. Universal Print Driver downloads are generic drivers for IT-managed setups, and HP offers PostScript and XPS versions. Utilities such as Set IP (1.5 MB) and Easy Printer Manager (28.7 MB) handle network addressing and device settings, not printing itself.
Duplex printing is automatic. Paper handling includes a 250-sheet input tray, a 50-sheet multi-purpose tray and a 150-sheet output bin. The printer has a 2-line LCD and no wireless. For phones and tablets, HP lists Apple AirPrint, Mopria and Mobile Apps.
How to install the Samsung SL-M4024 driver
- Download the Samsung SL-M332x, 382x, 402x Series Print Driver (36.3 MB) and save the file.
- Run the downloaded installer. It installs the driver for your printer automatically.
- Connect the printer to the PC by USB cable, or to your network through the Ethernet port.
- Follow the installer prompts until it finishes.

Samsung SL-M4024 driver troubleshooting
Windows cannot find the printer
Check that the USB cable or Ethernet cable is seated at both ends. Try a different USB port. This printer has no wireless, so a network connection needs Ethernet. Samsung Set IP can assign a network address.
Prints look faint, streaked or smudged
Confirm the loaded paper matches a supported media type and weighs 16 to 43 lb. Replace worn supplies if the problem continues. Then print a second page to compare results.
Easy Printer Manager fails on Windows 10
Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager version 2.00.01.36 from the downloads list. It fixes a Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue. Remove the older version first if the utility still will not open.
