Which Samsung SL-C3010 driver should I choose?

HP offers four kinds of download for this printer. The Basic driver is a driver-only package for printing; the 55.0 MB version has an installer, and the 32.6 MB No Installer version needs a manual install. Universal Print Driver packages (24.4 to 38.5 MB) are generic drivers, best for IT-managed setups. Utilities handle tasks such as IP setup, color management and diagnostics. The firmware file is 26.6 MB. Update it only to fix a specific problem, and read the release note first.

The Basic driver supports Windows 10 and Windows 7, 32-bit and 64-bit. Windows 11 users should pick the Universal Print Driver for Windows (38.5 MB). Samsung Set IP configures the network address using the printer's MAC address, and Easy Color Manager adjusts color balance, saturation and brightness.

How to install the Samsung SL-C3010 driver

Samsung SL-C3010 driver troubleshooting

Windows shows the printer as offline, or print jobs stay stuck in the queue.

Restart the printer and the PC first. If the problem returns, run Samsung Printer Diagnostics 1.0.4.29, a Windows tool that diagnoses and fixes offline printers and stuck jobs.

Colors look off, or printed pages look faded or streaky.

Check that the supplies are seated correctly and are not empty. For color mismatches, try Samsung Easy Color Manager 4.00.14 to adjust balance, saturation and brightness.

The printer software does not work properly on Windows 10.

Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager 2.00.01.36 (28.7 MB). Samsung fixed a Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue in that version, and it also monitors printer status.
