Which Samsung SL-M3325 series driver should I choose?

The Basic driver is the one most people want. The 36.3 MB installer runs by itself, while the 21.2 MB No Installer version needs a manual install. Universal Print Drivers (24.4 to 38.5 MB) are generic drivers for IT-managed setups. Utilities such as Printer Diagnostics (23.1 MB) and Easy Printer Manager (28.7 MB) add tools but no core driver. Firmware (16.5 MB) is a Network component update. Install it only if that fix applies, and read HP's Release Note first.

The Basic driver covers the SL-M332x, 382x and 402x series on Win 10 and Win 7, in 32-bit and 64-bit. HP lists Win 11 for the Universal Print Driver for Windows, not for the Basic driver. Set IP assigns a network IP address using the printer's MAC address.

Pages print faint, streaked or with marks

Check that the installed supply sits correctly in the printer. Replace it if it is worn out. Then print another test page to see whether the problem is gone.

Easy Printer Manager does not work properly on Windows 10

Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager version 2.00.01.36 (28.7 MB). HP lists it as fixing a Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue. Remove the older version first if one is present.

HP lists Win 10 (64-bit and 32-bit) and Win 7 (64-bit and 32-bit) for the Samsung SL-M332x, 382x, 402x Series Print Driver. It does not list Win 11 for this driver.

Can I use this printer on Windows 11?

HP lists Win 11 for the Samsung Universal Print Driver for Windows (version 3.00.16.0101.01, 38.5 MB). Printer Diagnostics, Set IP and Easy Printer Manager also list Win 11.

How big is the driver that needs no installer?

The Samsung SL-M332x, 382x, 402x Series Print Driver (No Installer) is 21.2 MB. It requires a manual installation. The installer version is 36.3 MB and sets itself up automatically.

What does the firmware update fix?
