Which Samsung SL-M2024 series driver should I choose?

The Basic driver category holds the print drivers. The 101.9 MB installer runs on its own, while the 34.5 MB No Installer version needs a manual install. Utilities handle diagnostics, IP setup, wireless setup and device settings. Samsung Universal Print Driver (38.5 MB) is a generic driver for IT-managed setups. HP lists no problem fixed by the firmware files, so skip them and read the Release Note if you ever need one.

Samsung Easy Wireless Setup (4.2 MB) configures wireless network settings. Samsung Set IP (1.5 MB) sets a network IP address using the printer's MAC address. Firmware files cover the SL-M2020, 2023, 2024, 2026, 2027 and 2029, with separate files for the W models.

Samsung SL-M2024 series driver troubleshooting

Printer shows as offline or jobs stick in the queue

Run Samsung Printer Diagnostics (version 1.0.4.29, 23.1 MB). HP describes it as a tool that diagnoses and fixes offline printers and stuck print jobs. Also confirm the printer is powered on and connected.

Prints look faded, streaked or blank in places

Check that the supply is seated correctly and not running low. Replace it if it is nearly empty. Then print another test page to see whether the problem is gone.

Samsung Easy Printer Manager has trouble on Windows 10

Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager version 2.00.01.36 (28.7 MB). HP states that this version fixed a Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue. Remove the older version first if the problem continues.
