Which Samsung SF-650 driver should I choose?

HP offers two kinds of download for the Samsung SF-650. Basic drivers make the printer work with Windows: the CF-650P Print Driver is 20.9 MB and the Scan Driver is 27.7 MB. Pick the print driver first, and add the scan driver if you scan. Utilities add extras. Smart Panel is 12.5 MB, and Network PC Fax Utility is 11.1 MB for sending faxes from your PC.

The print and scan drivers are CF-650P series and support Windows 7, 32-bit and 64-bit. Network PC Fax works with Samsung multifunction printers supplied with fax. It supports Windows 10 and Windows 7, both 32-bit and 64-bit.

How to install the Samsung SF-650 driver

1. Download the CF-650P Series Print Driver (version 3.10.49.09, 20.9 MB) from HP's page.
2. Save the file to a folder you can find again.
3. Run the downloaded file and follow the installer's prompts.
4. Connect the printer when the installer asks for it.
5. Restart Windows if the installer requests it, then print a test page.

Samsung SF-650 driver troubleshooting

Windows does not detect the printer after installation

Confirm the printer is powered on and its cable or network connection is firm. Restart both the printer and the PC. Then run the installer again if the printer still does not appear.

Prints look faded, streaked or blank

Check the printer's supplies and replace any that are low or empty. Print another test page afterward. Persistent streaks usually point to worn supplies rather than the driver.

Network PC Fax fails to work on Windows 10

Install Samsung Network PC fax Utility version 2.02.35 (Jun 29, 2023, 11.1 MB). It fixed a Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue. Remove any older version first.
