Which Samsung SL-C4062 driver should I choose?
Basic driver downloads are what most owners need. HP offers a 32.6 MB no-installer package and a 55.0 MB installer version. Utilities add tools such as Samsung Easy Printer Manager (28.7 MB) and Samsung Set IP (1.5 MB). Universal Print Driver packages are generic drivers, best for IT-managed setups. Firmware (909.8 MB) comes with a release note; read it first and update only to fix a specific problem.
Automatic duplex is standard. Paper capacity is a 550-sheet tray plus a 50-sheet multipurpose tray, with a 50-sheet ADF and a 250-sheet output bin. Connections are Hi-Speed USB 2.0 and Gigabit Ethernet, with Wi-Fi as an option.

Samsung SL-C4062 driver troubleshooting
Windows cannot find the printer on the network
Check the Ethernet cable at both ends and confirm the printer is on. Then try Samsung Set IP (1.5 MB), which sets the network IP address using the printer's MAC address.
Faded pages or streaks on laser printouts
Check the toner level and replace a low toner cartridge. Reprint a test page afterward. If streaks remain, power the printer off and on, then try again.
Samsung Easy Printer Manager misbehaves on Windows 10
Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager version 2.00.01.36 (28.7 MB). HP states it fixed the Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue. Remove the older version first.

Which Windows versions does the recommended driver support?
HP lists Windows 10 and Windows 7, both 32-bit and 64-bit, for the no-installer driver. For Windows 11, HP offers Universal Print Driver packages instead.
How big is the driver with an installer?
The Samsung SL-C4010,4012,4060,4062 Series Print Driver with an installer is 55.0 MB. The no-installer version is 32.6 MB. Both are version 3.00.15.00.01.
Does the SL-C4062 support Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac is optional. Standard connections are Hi-Speed USB 2.0 and built-in Gigabit Ethernet. NFC and BLE are optional too.
What does the firmware update fix?
HP does not state what it fixes. The firmware is version 6.00.07.02, dated Dec 23, 2019, and HP recommends reading the release note before installing.
