Basic drivers are the model-specific choice: PCL6 (30.1 MB), PostScript (28.1 MB) and XPS (29.7 MB, Windows 7 only). The No Installer version (34.0 MB) suits manual driver installs. The Universal Print Driver (24.4 MB) is a generic PostScript driver for IT-managed setups. Utilities cover IP setup, printer management and direct printing. Update the firmware (16.3 MB) only to fix a specific problem, and read the release note first.

Windows cannot find the printer

Confirm the printer is on and connected to your PC or network. Check the cable, then restart both devices. On a network, Samsung Set IP (1.5 MB) can assign an IP address using the MAC address.

Printouts look faint or streaky

Check the toner and other supplies, and replace any that are low. Print a test page afterward. Reinstall the driver if the output still looks wrong.

Samsung Easy Printer Manager misbehaves on Windows 10

Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager version 2.00.01.36 (28.7 MB). HP lists it as fixing a Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue.
