Which Samsung ML-3750 driver should I choose?

HP offers four kinds of download. The Basic drivers (PCL6 at 19.6 MB, PostScript at 25.5 MB) are model-specific and right for most people. Universal Print Drivers are generic, and IT teams use them to manage many printers at once. Utilities include Easy Printer Manager (28.7 MB) for settings and status, and Set IP (1.5 MB) for network addresses. HP also offers a firmware file (11.0 MB). HP lists no problem it fixes, so skip it unless you are fixing a specific fault.

Duplex printing is automatic. Connect by Hi-Speed USB 2.0 or built-in Gigabit Ethernet, since the printer has no wireless. Paper loads in a 250-sheet tray or a 50-sheet multi-purpose tray, and the output bin holds 150 sheets. It supports SPL, PCL5, PCL6 and PS3.

Samsung ML-3750 driver troubleshooting

Windows cannot find the printer over USB or Ethernet

Reseat both ends of the cable and try another USB port or network port. Restart the printer, then retry. On a network, Samsung Set IP can assign an address using the printer's MAC address.

Prints look faint, streaked or smudged

Confirm the paper matches a supported media type, such as plain, thick or recycled. Try a fresh ream, then check the printer's supplies. Replace anything worn or empty.

Easy Printer Manager misbehaves on Windows 10

Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager version 2.00.01.36. HP says it fixed a Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue. Remove the older version first, then restart the PC.
