Which Samsung CLX-9201 driver should I choose?
HP groups the files into four categories. Basic drivers handle only printing or scanning, with the PCL6 print driver at 41.0 MB and the scan driver at 22.6 MB. The Universal Print Driver (38.5 MB) is a generic driver, best for IT-managed setups. Utilities add tools such as Easy Printer Manager (28.7 MB) and Set IP (1.5 MB). Firmware is a 402.4 MB file. HP lists no fixes for it, so skip it unless the 0.1 MB Release Note describes your problem.
The print driver covers the CLX-92×1 and 93×1 series, and the firmware covers the CLX-9201, 9206, 9251, 9301 and 9306. The model-specific drivers support Windows 10 and Windows 7. Set IP assigns a network address using the printer's MAC address.

Samsung CLX-9201 driver troubleshooting
The printer does not respond after installing the driver
Confirm the printer is powered on and connected to your PC or network. Then reinstall the driver, restart the PC, and try a test page. Set IP can help if the network address is the issue.
Printouts look faded, streaked or uneven
Check the printer's supply levels and replace anything that is low or empty. Reprint a test page afterward. If the defect remains, reinstall the driver to rule out a settings problem.
Easy Printer Manager, Network PC Fax or Easy Document Creator fails on Windows 10
Install the latest version of the tool. Samsung fixed a Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue in Easy Printer Manager 2.00.01.36, Network PC fax Utility 2.02.35 and Easy Document Creator 2.02.61.

Which Windows versions does the recommended driver support?
The Samsung CLX-92×1, 93×1 Series Print Driver PCL6 supports Windows 10 64-bit, Windows 10 32-bit, Windows 7 64-bit and Windows 7 32-bit. HP does not list Windows 11 for it.
Does Windows 11 have any support?
Yes. The Samsung Universal Print Driver for Windows (38.5 MB), Set IP and Easy Printer Manager list Windows 11. The model-specific drivers do not.
How big is the firmware file and what does it fix?
The firmware file is 402.4 MB, version 6.P6.03.EC1512.10. HP lists no fixes for it. HP recommends reading the 0.1 MB Release Note before installing.
Is there a separate scan driver?
Yes. HP offers the Samsung CLX-92×1, 93×1 Series Scan Driver, version 3.31.19.13, at 22.6 MB. It supports Windows 10 and Windows 7, both 32-bit and 64-bit.
