Which Samsung CLX-6260 driver should I choose?
HP offers four download categories for this model. Basic drivers handle printing and scanning. The Print Driver installer is 61.8 MB, the No Installer version is 45.5 MB and needs manual installation, and the Scan Driver is 22.8 MB. Universal Print Drivers are generic drivers for IT-managed setups. Utilities add network, wireless, fax, OCR and settings tools. Firmware files run 76.8 MB or 143.1 MB. HP lists no firmware fixes, so update only to solve a specific problem, after reading the Release Note.
HP lists separate firmware for the CLX-6260FW and for the CLX-6260FR, 6260FD and 6260ND. Match the file to your exact variant. Basic drivers support Windows 10 and Windows 7, in 32-bit and 64-bit.

Samsung CLX-6260 driver troubleshooting
Windows cannot find the printer or jobs do not print
Confirm the printer is powered on and its cable or network connection is secure. Restart the printer and the PC. On a network, Samsung Set IP can check or set the address using the MAC address.
Pages print faded, streaky or blank
Check the supplies and replace any that are low or empty. Print a test page afterward. If the problem continues, reinstall the print driver and try again.
Samsung utilities misbehave on Windows 10
Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager 2.00.01.36, Samsung Easy Document Creator 2.02.61 or Samsung Network PC fax Utility 2.02.35. Each fixes the Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue.
