Which Samsung CLP-365 driver should I choose?

HP offers four download categories here. The Basic driver is the normal choice: the CLP-36x Series Print Driver is 56.4 MB, and the No Installer version is 26.7 MB. Utilities cover tasks like network IP setup, wireless setup and status monitoring. The Universal Print Driver is 38.5 MB and suits IT-managed setups that want one generic driver. The firmware file is 13.6 MB. Update firmware only to fix a specific problem, and read the Release Note first.

The firmware file covers the CLP-365W and 366W, so it applies to wireless models. Samsung Easy Wireless Setup (4.2 MB) configures wireless network settings. Samsung Set IP (1.5 MB) sets a network IP address using the printer's MAC address.

How to install the Samsung CLP-365 driver

1. Download the CLP-36x Series Print Driver (56.4 MB) from the Samsung CLP-365 download list.
2. Open the downloaded file and run the installer.
3. Follow the installer prompts to finish the driver setup.
4. Connect the printer the way the installer asks.
5. For wireless models, run Samsung Easy Wireless Setup to configure the wireless network settings.
6. Print a test page to confirm the driver works.

Samsung CLP-365 driver troubleshooting

Windows cannot find the printer on the network

Restart the printer and your router first. Then run Samsung Set IP (version 1.05.08.03.14), which assigns an IP address using the printer's MAC address. Reinstall the driver if the printer still does not appear.

Prints look faded, streaked or blank

Check the toner and other supplies for wear or low levels. Remove the cartridges and reseat them. Then print a test page. Replace any supply that is empty or damaged.

Samsung Easy Printer Manager misbehaves on Windows 10

Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager version 2.00.01.36. Samsung fixed a Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue in that release. Download it, run the installer, and restart the PC before opening the tool again.

Which Windows versions does the CLP-36x Series Print Driver support?

HP lists Windows 10 64-bit, Windows 10 32-bit, Windows 7 64-bit and Windows 7 32-bit. HP does not list Windows 11 for this driver.

Is there a driver for Windows 11?

HP lists Windows 11 for the Samsung Universal Print Driver (version 3.00.16.0101.01, 38.5 MB). It is a generic driver aimed at IT-managed setups.

How big is the printer driver download?

The CLP-36x Series Print Driver is 56.4 MB. The No Installer version is 26.7 MB, and the XPS version for Windows 7 is 29.8 MB.

Should I update the firmware?

Update it only to fix a specific problem. HP recommends reading the Release Note before installing the CLP-365W, 366W firmware file (version 3.00.02.19, 13.6 MB).
