The computer does not detect the printer
Check the cable and port first. Try a different USB port if you use USB. Then restart both the printer and the computer, and run the Drivers and Utilities Combo Package Installer again.
Printing fails after the driver is installed
Run Epson Printer Connection Checker on Windows. It diagnoses the connection and tries to resolve it. If the problem stays, reinstall the listed driver from the table above.
The driver seems out of date or behaves oddly
Install Epson Software Updater for your system. It downloads updates for the printer's firmware and utilities from the Internet. Restart the printer and computer afterward, then print a test page.

Get the Drivers and Utilities Combo Package Installer, version 5.0. It is 2.4 MB. The same installer covers Windows 11, Windows 10 in 64-bit and 32-bit, and Windows 7 in 64-bit and 32-bit.
Which driver works on a Mac?
Epson lists Printer Driver version 13.45, 84.2 MB, for macOS 26, 15, 13 and 10.15. The file is dated June 30, 2026.
Is there scanner software for the L6570?
Yes. Epson lists Epson Scan2 and Epson ScanSmart for Windows and macOS. Windows also gets Scan PDF Extensions2 and Scan OCR Component2. Both are listed for macOS too.
Why is the Windows installer so small?
The Combo Package Installer is 2.4 MB on Windows. The facts here do not say why. The macOS Printer Driver is much larger, at 84.2 MB.
