How to install the Epson ET-4900 driver

- Close other programs, then double-click the downloaded file to start the installer.
- Follow the installer prompts and accept the license terms when they appear.
- Connect the ET-4900 to your computer or network when the installer asks for it.

Epson ET-4900 driver troubleshooting
Windows does not detect the printer after installation
Check that the USB cable is seated firmly at both ends, or try another port. Turn the printer off and on, restart the computer, then retry. Reinstall the Printer Driver if it still fails.
Printing fails or jobs stay stuck in the queue
Run Epson Printer Connection Checker, which diagnoses printer connection problems. Restart the printer and the computer afterward. If jobs still stall, remove the driver and reinstall version 3.80.05 from the table.
The driver is outdated or behaves oddly after a system update
Install Epson Software Updater from the downloads list and let it check for newer printer software. You can also download the current Printer Driver for your system and run the installer again.

Which driver do I need for Windows 11?
Use the Printer Driver, version 3.80.05. The 69.5 MB file covers Windows 11, Windows 10 64-bit and Windows 7 64-bit.
Is there a separate driver for 32-bit Windows?
Yes. Windows 10 32-bit and Windows 7 32-bit use their own Printer Driver, version 3.80.05, at 32.3 MB. The 64-bit file will not match those systems.
Does the ET-4900 have a Mac driver?
Yes. The macOS Printer Driver is version 13.48, 74.4 MB. It is listed for macOS 26, macOS 15, macOS 13 and macOS 10.15.
Is scanner software available for this printer?
