Epson ET-4800 driver troubleshooting
The computer does not detect the printer after installation
Check that the USB cable is seated firmly at both ends, or try another port. Then restart the printer and the computer. If it still fails, reinstall the Printer Driver from the table.
Printing fails or jobs sit in the queue
Run Epson Printer Connection Checker, which diagnoses and resolves connection problems. Power the printer off and on afterward. Reinstall the listed Printer Driver if jobs still do not print.
The driver seems out of date or behaves oddly
Open Epson Software Updater to download updates for the printer's firmware and utilities. Restart the computer when it finishes. Failing that, remove the driver and install the listed version again.
