How to install the Canon PIXMA G670 driver

- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded EXE file to decompress it, then installation will start automatically.

Canon PIXMA G670 driver troubleshooting
Windows does not detect the G670
Plug the USB cable straight into the PC, not a hub, and try another port. Restart the printer and the PC. On Wi-Fi, check that both devices use the same network. Then run the driver installer again.
The installer stops partway through
Close other programs and pause your antivirus. Right-click the installer and run it as administrator. Restart the PC and try again. If it still stops, download the file again, because a damaged download often fails.
The printer works but the scanner is missing
You probably installed only the basic setup package. Install G670 MP Driver Ver.1.03, which Canon lists as covering printing and scanning. Restart the PC afterward, then check the scanner again in your scanning app.
