Canon PIXMA G3060 driver troubleshooting

Windows does not detect the printer during setup

Plug the USB cable straight into the PC, not a hub. Turn the printer on before you start. Run the setup package again. If Windows still misses the printer, restart the PC and try a different USB port.

The installer stops partway through

Close other programs and pause your security software. Run the installer as administrator. If it still stops, download the file again, because a partial download breaks setup. The MP Driver is 89.41 MB, so check the size.

The scanner does not appear after installing

Install the G3020/G3060 series MP Driver, which provides full printing and scanning. Restart the PC after setup. Then open your scanning program and check that it lists the G3060.
