How to install the Canon PIXMA G2060 driver

- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded EXE file to decompress it, then installation will start automatically.

Canon PIXMA G2060 driver troubleshooting
Windows does not detect the printer after I connect the USB cable.
Turn the printer on first. Try a different USB port and cable, and plug directly into the PC, not a hub. Then run the MP Driver installer again. Check Device Manager for an unknown device.
The driver installer stops partway through.
Close other programs and pause your antivirus for the install. Right-click the installer and run it as administrator. Unplug the USB cable during setup unless the installer asks for it. Restart the PC and try again.
The printer prints, but the scanner does not appear.
You may have installed only a basic print driver. Install the G2020/G2060 series MP Driver, which Canon says provides full printing and scanning. Restart the PC afterward and check that the scanner shows in Windows.
