Which Samsung SCX-4821 driver should I choose?
HP sorts the downloads into three categories. The Basic driver, SCX-4021S Series Print Driver XPS (33.4 MB), is driver-only and fits most owners. Universal Print Driver packages are generic drivers for IT-managed setups: 38.5 MB for the standard version and 24.4 MB for PostScript. Utilities add tools rather than printing. These include Easy Printer Manager (28.7 MB), Set IP (1.5 MB) and Network PC fax (11.1 MB).
Duplex printing is manual, so you flip the pages yourself. Connections are Hi-Speed USB 2.0 and built-in Fast Ethernet 10/100, with no wireless. Paper comes from a 250-sheet input tray or a 1-sheet multi-purpose tray, and the output bin holds 50 sheets.

Samsung SCX-4821 driver troubleshooting
Windows does not find the printer over USB or Ethernet
Try another USB cable or port, or reseat the Ethernet cable. For a network setup, Samsung Set IP (1.5 MB) assigns an IP address using the printer's MAC address.
Laser prints look faint or streaky
Remove the toner cartridge and rock it gently from side to side to spread the toner. Reinstall it, then print again. Replace the cartridge if the problem stays.
Easy Printer Manager misbehaves on Windows 10
Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager version 2.00.01.36 (28.7 MB). HP states it fixes the Windows10 RS4 compatibility issue.
