Which Samsung ML-5515 / ML-6515 driver should I choose?
The Basic driver (17.6 MB) is the model-specific choice and installs the XPS driver only. The Universal Print Driver (38.5 MB) is a generic driver that suits IT-managed setups and covers Win 11. Utilities add tools: Set IP (1.5 MB) sets a network IP by MAC address, and Easy Printer Manager (28.7 MB) combines settings and status monitoring. Read HP's release note before installing the firmware file (24.3 MB). Update firmware only to fix a problem, and HP lists none for this file.
HP titles the firmware file for the ML-5515ND and 6515ND, so confirm your model suffix before flashing anything. Set IP works with network printers through the MAC address, which is the hardware serial number of the network printer.
How to install the Samsung ML-5515 / ML-6515 driver
- Download the ML-551x, 651x Series Print Driver XPS (17.6 MB) and save it to a folder you can find.
- Connect the printer to your PC or network the way you normally do.
- Run the downloaded installer; it installs the XPS driver automatically.
- Follow the on-screen prompts until the installer finishes.
- Add Samsung Easy Printer Manager (28.7 MB) separately if you want settings and status monitoring, since this package is driver-only.

Samsung ML-5515 / ML-6515 driver troubleshooting
Windows cannot find the printer or shows it offline
Check power and the cable or network link, then restart the printer and PC. If the problem continues, reinstall the driver. On a network, Set IP (1.5 MB) can assign an address using the MAC address.
Printed pages look faded or streaky
Check supply status in Samsung Easy Printer Manager. Replace any low supply, then print another page to confirm. Persistent streaks after that point to a hardware fault, so contact Samsung support.
Easy Printer Manager misbehaves on Windows 10
Download version 2.00.01.36 (28.7 MB). It fixes the Windows10 RS4 compatibility issue. Remove any older copy first, then run the new installer and restart the PC.
