Which Samsung SL-M2830 driver should I choose?
Basic driver downloads install only the print driver. The installer version is 25.1 MB, while the No Installer version is 20.9 MB and needs manual installation. Utility downloads add tools such as Easy Wireless Setup (4.2 MB) or Printer Diagnostics (23.1 MB). The Universal Print Driver, 38.5 MB, is a generic driver for IT-managed setups. Firmware, 7.7 MB, is worth installing only to fix a specific problem, and HP recommends reading the release note first.
Duplex printing is automatic. The 250-sheet input tray and 1-sheet multi-purpose tray feed paper, and the output bin holds 120 sheets. Wi-Fi supports WEP and WPA/WPA2 Personal security, so match your router's setting. AirPrint and Mopria cover mobile printing.

Samsung SL-M2830 driver troubleshooting
Printer shows offline or jobs stay stuck in the queue
Confirm the printer is on and joined to the same network as your PC, or check the USB cable. Then run Samsung Printer Diagnostics, which targets offline printers and stuck print jobs.
Prints look faint, streaked or uneven
Make sure the paper type in the driver matches the paper loaded, such as Plain or Thick. Check the printer's supplies and replace any that are used up. Try a fresh ream of paper.
Samsung Easy Printer Manager fails on Windows 10
Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager version 2.00.01.36. Samsung fixed a Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue in that release. Remove the older version first, then restart your PC before opening it.
