Which Samsung ML-2950 / ML-2955 driver should I choose?

The Basic driver is driver-only software. Choose it for everyday printing. The No Installer version is 25.5 MB and needs a manual install. The Universal Print Driver is a generic driver for IT-managed setups. The Windows version is 38.5 MB and covers Windows 11, which the Basic driver does not list. Utilities handle settings: Easy Printer Manager is 28.7 MB, Easy Wireless Setup is 4.2 MB, and Set IP is 1.5 MB. Update the 9.6 MB firmware only to fix a specific problem, and read the release note first.

Samsung Set IP assigns a network IP address using the printer's MAC address. Easy Wireless Setup configures wireless network settings. Easy Printer Manager puts device settings and status monitoring in one place, which helps after the first install.

How to install the Samsung ML-2950 / ML-2955 driver

1. Download the Samsung ML-2950, 2955 Series Print Driver (23.2 MB) from HP's download page.
2. Save the file, then open it when the download finishes.
3. Follow the installer prompts to add the driver to your PC.

Windows does not detect the printer or jobs never print

Confirm the printer is powered on and connected to your PC or network. Restart both, then rerun the installer. Network users can set the address with Samsung Set IP (1.5 MB).

Pages come out faint, streaked or blank

Check the cartridge supply first. Remove the cartridge, reseat it firmly, and print another page. Replace the cartridge if the problem continues.

Easy Printer Manager fails to work properly on Windows 10

Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager version 2.00.01.36 (28.7 MB). It fixed a Windows10 RS4 compatibility issue. Download it from HP's page and run the installer.
