Which Samsung CLX-6250 driver should I choose?
Basic drivers make the printer work: print drivers, the 9.0 MB Mono and 19.0 MB No Installer versions, a 31.2 MB scan driver, and XPS and PCL5 options for Windows 7 only. Choose the 34.6 MB Print Driver if you want a standard install. Utilities add extras like status monitoring, network setup, PC fax and scan OCR. The Samsung Universal Print Driver – PostScript (24.4 MB) is a generic driver for IT-managed setups. HP lists no firmware download.
Samsung Set IP (1.5 MB) sets a network printer's IP address using its MAC address. Samsung Easy Printer Manager combines device settings and status monitoring in one place. Samsung Network PC Fax Utility sends faxes from the PC on models supplied with fax.

Samsung CLX-6250 driver troubleshooting
Windows cannot find the printer on the network
Confirm the printer is on and cabled or connected to your network. Then run Samsung Set IP (1.5 MB) to assign an IP address using the MAC address, and add the printer again.
Prints look faded, streaked or have color missing
Check the toner supplies first and replace any that are empty. Then print a test page from the driver. Reinstall the driver if the problem appears only in one program.
Samsung software fails on Windows 10 after an update
Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager 2.00.01.36, which fixes a Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue. Samsung Easy Document Creator 2.02.61 and Network PC Fax Utility 2.02.35 carry the same fix.
