Which Samsung CLP-620 driver should I choose?
HP offers three kinds of downloads here. The Basic drivers (CLP-605, 610 Series) are the model-specific choice: the XPS driver is 18.4 MB, the standard driver 33.8 MB, and the Mono no-installer version 10.1 MB. The Universal Print Driver (38.5 MB) is a generic driver, best for IT-managed setups. Utilities add extras: Set IP (1.5 MB) sets a network address using the MAC address, and Easy Printer Manager (28.7 MB) combines settings and status monitoring. HP does not list firmware for this printer.
HP offers the model-specific Basic drivers for Windows 7, 32-bit and 64-bit only. On Windows 10 or 11, the Universal Print Driver is the Windows option HP lists. Set IP helps if the printer connects over a network.

Samsung CLP-620 driver troubleshooting
Windows does not find the printer on the network
Check that the printer and PC share the same network. Restart both devices. Then use Samsung Set IP, which assigns a network address using the printer's MAC address.
Printed colors look faded or streaky
Replace any toner cartridge that is nearly empty. Print another test page afterward. If streaks remain, power the printer off and on, then try again.
Easy Printer Manager fails on a recent Windows 10 build
Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager version 2.00.01.36. HP lists it as fixing a Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue, so update if the older version misbehaves.
