How to install the Epson L8050 driver
- Download the Printer Driver that matches your Windows version from the table above.
- Close any other open programs, then run the downloaded file.
- Follow the installer prompts. Connect the printer when it asks you to.
- Print a test page to confirm the driver works.
- On a Mac, download the macOS Printer Driver from the table and run it the same way.

Epson L8050 driver troubleshooting
The installer cannot find the printer
Check the cable and port connections. Try a different port if one is free. Restart the printer and the computer, then run the installer again.
Printing stopped working after installation
Remove the installed driver and reinstall the Printer Driver from the table. Restart the computer afterward. Epson Software Updater can then check for newer software.
The printer shows as offline or disconnected
Run Epson Printer Connection Checker from the table. It diagnoses the connection and tries to resolve problems. Restart the printer and computer if the issue remains.

Which driver do I need for Windows 11?
Download the Printer Driver, a 65.5 MB file. The same file covers Windows 10 64-bit and Windows 7 64-bit.
Is there a driver for 32-bit Windows?
Yes. A separate 31.2 MB Printer Driver covers Windows 10 32-bit and Windows 7 32-bit. Don't install the 64-bit file on those systems.
Which Mac versions are supported?
One Printer Driver of 76.9 MB covers macOS 26, 15, 13 and 10.15. Epson lists no separate driver for each Mac version.
Can I update the printer firmware?
Yes. Epson offers a Firmware Updater for both Windows and macOS. It obtains and installs the latest firmware. The Windows file is 15.1 MB and the Mac file is 19.5 MB.
