Epson ET-2870 driver troubleshooting
Windows does not detect the printer
Check the cable and the port it plugs into. Try a different port. Then restart the printer and the computer. If it still fails, reinstall the Combo Package Installer.
Printing fails after a driver install
Turn the printer off and on, then restart the computer. Reinstall the listed driver for your system. Epson Software Updater can also check for newer utilities and firmware.
Printer shows as offline or won't connect
Run Epson Printer Connection Checker on Windows. It diagnoses the connection and tries to resolve it. Also confirm the cable is seated, then restart the printer and computer.
