Windows does not detect the printer
Check the cable and port first. Restart the printer and the computer. Then reinstall the Printer Driver that matches your Windows version from the table above.
Printing fails or stalls after the driver is installed
Run Epson Printer Connection Checker, which diagnoses and resolves connection problems. Close other programs afterward. Print another test page to confirm the printer responds.
The printer misbehaves with an older driver or outdated firmware
Install Epson Software Updater to download firmware and utility updates. Afterward, reinstall the Printer Driver from the table if the problem stays. Restart the computer once the install finishes.
