Which Samsung ML-2161 series driver should I choose?
Basic driver downloads are model-specific. The ML-2160 Series Print Driver is 33.8 MB, and the No Installer version is 20.7 MB. Choose No Installer only if you add drivers manually. Samsung ML-2161 series driver troubleshooting
Windows does not detect the printer over USB
Check that the printer is powered on and the USB cable sits firmly at both ends. Try another USB port on the PC, then reinstall the driver if the printer still does not appear.
Prints look faint or streaky
Confirm the paper matches a supported media type, such as plain or thick. Remove the cartridge, reseat it gently, and print again. Replace the cartridge if the problem continues.

Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager version 2.00.01.36, which fixed the Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue. Download it from this page, then reinstall over the old copy.
