Which Samsung CLX-8385 driver should I choose?
HP groups the files into four categories. Basic drivers handle printing and scanning for one model; sizes run from 5.9 MB to 22.8 MB for the Windows 7 ND drivers. Utilities add extras such as Set IP (1.5 MB) and Easy Printer Manager (28.7 MB). The Samsung Universal Print Driver (38.5 MB) is a generic option for IT-managed setups. Firmware files are 31.9 MB to 252.4 MB. Update firmware only to fix a specific problem, and read the Release Note first.
HP offers separate drivers for the ND and NX variants, so match the suffix on your printer. The ND drivers cover Windows 7 only. NX drivers cover Windows 10 and Windows 7.

Windows cannot find the printer on the network
Confirm the printer is powered on and connected to your network. Then run Samsung Set IP (1.5 MB), which sets the network IP address using the printer's MAC address.
Pages print faded, streaked or blank
Check the supply levels and replace anything that is empty. Reinstall the supplies if they sit loose. Then print a test page to confirm the result.
Samsung Easy Printer Manager misbehaves on Windows 10
Install Samsung Easy Printer Manager version 2.00.01.36 (28.7 MB). HP lists it as fixing a Windows 10 RS4 compatibility issue.
