How to install the Epson XP-8700 driver

- Close other programs, then run the downloaded file.
- Follow the installer prompts until it asks you to connect the printer.
- Connect the XP-8700 when prompted, then let the installer finish.

Epson XP-8700 driver troubleshooting
Windows does not detect the printer after installation
Check the cable and port first. Turn off the printer and restart the computer. Then power the printer back on. If it still fails, reinstall the Printer Driver for your Windows version.
Printing fails or the printer shows as offline
Run Epson Printer Connection Checker from the table. It diagnoses connection problems on Windows. Afterward, restart the printer and computer, then print a test page again.
The driver is out of date or behaves oddly
Install Software Updater from the table. It downloads updates for the printer's firmware and utilities. Alternatively, download the Printer Driver again and reinstall it over the current one.
